Our Journey

In February of 1999 Michael Rawlings decided to open Rawlings Trade & Commerce Inc. with an operating name as MVP International to service his existing customers from his 12 years in the Tool & Mold industry. The company performed services of Program Management and Procurement of Used Machinery.

In 2001 MVP International expanded to service USA customers with expanded services to include procurement, relocation of assets and product development.

In 2003 MVP International began a 2 year project that would include converting manufactured metal parts for a long term care bed provider into composite molded SMC parts. This project would include everything from initial part conversion, mold design & build, molding press procurement, retrofit and installation to final part molding and development to assure the part production work cell met all industry standards for safety and quality. At the end of the project the manufacturer was able to increase their production volume while producing a better quality, lighter and stronger product. This project along with others allowed this company to increase annual sales from $1 Million per year to over $90 Million per year in a 5 year period.

In 2005 MVP International was awarded a large project to assist a local Mold Builder to consolidate 2 medium size factories into one newer large factory. MVP provided many services on this project from planning the manufacturing space in the new facility, developing work flow, organizing and relocating the two factories into the larger factory to full turn key setup of the new facility. To say MVP was involved in every single project required would be an understatement. The project went very well and the mold build company was able to continue business while the move was in process and increase their capacities once the move was complete.

In 2007 MVP International was awarded a project from the same Tool & Mold Build Company to create an addition of the facility and business into the Tool & Die sector. This project involved adding of machinery, assets and personnel to achieve the desired goal. The project was in motion at the same time the company began sales in the new business and the managing of manufacturing while opening the company was trusted to MVP International. The project was a success and the company was able to open the new division while actually servicing their customer.

In 2008 MVP International renamed to the company to MVP Global Solutions Inc. as the company started to service customers outside of the USA and Canada. As the economy fell on a financial crisis MVP focused on small to medium projects to not become victim to non-payment by customers on large projects. Over the next few years MVP was involved in many mid sized projects involving all type of machinery in the automotive manufacturing sector.

In 2010 MVP Global Solutions was awarded a project in Mexico for Magna International which was the beginning of a very strong customer / supplier relationship. This relationship has involved the procurement, sales and relocation of hundreds of machines over the past decade. To this day the Magna business relationship is a priority for MVP Global Solutions Inc. MVP has provided sales and service to Magna international on 4 continents!

In 2012 MVP secured a very large 2 year project to liquidate factories in Tijuana Mexico & Nitra Slovakia for an electronics manufacturer. This project would involve hundreds of machines that were sold and relocated to a number of automotive tier one suppliers, tool & mold builders and mid sized plastic part manufacturers. This project was the largest and most successful project to date and provided MVP with a growth in customer base and industry contacts.

In 2014 MVP ventured into China and South Korea on a number of projects that involved assets from Asia to Mexico, Canada and the USA.

From 2015 to 2019 MVP Global Solutions Inc continued to service manufacturers with machinery sales and relocations to and from Asia, Europe, North & South America.

In 2019 MVP Global Solutions Inc. opened a recycling division named MVP Earth. This new and exciting opportunity has just begun and will include the repurposing of plastic scrap parts, sales and service of plastic recycling equipment and recycling process education for our existing machinery customers.

Unfortunately in 2020 the World Covid19 Pandemic has slowed most manufacturing and MVP related business. MVP has taken the time to continue smaller projects while creating an online presence to more efficiently service our valued customers.
